Hidden Lakes Village is a beautiful, family-friendly community located west of the waterfront side of Mineola in Little River. Developed in 2005, the homes here are "affordable luxury" homes, with all the best upgrades like granite countertops, hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, and tiles bathrooms. The streets are landscaped and the community is built around several ponds with sparkling fountains, offering water views from many of the homes.
One thing that sets Hidden Lakes apart from most of the other new home communities is the number of amenities it offers. Residents enjoy a community pool and clubhouse, tennis courts, and a nice playground/park for the children.
It's outside the city limits which keeps taxes low, yet it's just across Hwy 17 from the Little River Waterfront (ICW), which is famous for festivals, great seafood, and the casino boats. Those who love to fish can use the boat access or even join one of the fishing charters there. Fresh seafood is always available at the docks. It's also only about 5 miles to North Myrtle Beach and all it offers.
The homes are three and four bedrooms, built by Nations Homes. All have 2-car garages and manicured lots, many with large covered or screened porches to enjoy the water views. Sizes range from 1600 to 2500 sq ft, with prices from the low $200,000's to around $300,000. Children attend Riverside Elementary, North Myrtle Beach Middle School and North Myrtle Beach High School.
