Colonial Charters is an 18 hole, 6400-yard course located off Hwy 9 in Longs. A community with multiple subdivisions of single-family homes, condos, and townhomes are located all around the golf course, likewise named Colonial Charters. One of the newest subdivisions, called Palmetto Greens, is being developed by H&H Homes.
This builder is known for extremely energy-efficient homes, with extra-thick walls and R19 insulation. Upgrades that would be considered optional with other builders are standard with an H&H home, such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, hardwood flooring, patios, front and rear porches, and much more. 2-car garages and sodded yards are standard as well. As an extra of the Palmetto Greens community, new home buyers get free green fees at the golf course for the first year. The community has its own pool and clubhouse, and there are several small lakes to add those wonderful water views.
You will find a few homes that were built in 2014 and 2015, but most are brand new or to-be-built. New homes offer eleven different model floorplans, from 1555 sq ft to 2378 sq ft. These 3 and 4 bedroom homes have a starting price range of just under $200,000 to around $250,000 depending on customizations and lot size. Children at Palmetto Greens will attend Riverside Elementary, North Myrtle Beach Middle, and North Myrtle Beach High School.
Townhomes are also being built by H&H Homes, both 2 and 3 bedroom models starting at $160,000. If you're interested in something smaller, maintenance-free, and less expensive, ask us about the Palmetto Greens Townhomes.
The entrance to Colonial Charters is across the street from a new shopping center, which includes three or four excellent restaurants, a bank, drug store, and other businesses. It's just about a 10-minute drive to North Myrtle Beach and all that it has to offer. Being outside the city limits also makes for low property taxes!
Call us to represent your interests as your buyer's agent, and let us negotiate with the builder. We'll be glad to show you around Colonial Charters as well. We think you'll be impressed with these extra-nice homes.
