Originally called Eastport Golf Club when it opened in 1988, the golf course has changed owners and is now called "The Valley at Eastport Golf Club". The course was designed by Dennis Griffith, and is located along the Intracoastal Waterway. One of the more affordable courses, Eastport is very popular for couples.
The course is also at the heart of many single family homes, patio homes, and golf condominiums as the fairways meander around 6200 acreas and along the Intracoastal Waterway.
The ranch style "tournament" homes in Eastport are custom built, most of vinyl and hardi-plank exteriors. You'll find one and occasionally two story homes, most with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Prices usually range from just under $170,000, and you'll even find the occasional foreclosure. There are even a few new construction homes here and there, with prices just over $200,000. Amenities include the Eastport community pool and picnic shelter. This is a Fannie Mae Homepath Community, and may offer special financing options on many of the homes.
The Oaks offer 3 bedroom ranch style patio homes on the greens, with two-car garages, brick and hardi-plank exteriors, perfectly landscaped yards, and breathtaking views of the greens and lakes located on the golf course. The large community pool and clubhouse are shared with the Moorings condos, and HOA dues include cable tv. Prices range from $170 - $200,000.
Condos in Eastport are plentiful, and include Spinnaker Cove, The Moorings, and Eastport Golf Villas. See our Eastport Golf Condo page for information and photos for these condominium complexes.
