Cypress Bay Golf Club used to be a popular golf course in Little River but has recently been sold to a housing developer, Mungo Homes. The course was closed, and they are presently building a new single family development called Cypress Village in its place. The homes and condos at Cypress Bay no longer have the views, but aren't suffering from the new subdivision and its landscaping.
Although there are some homes bordering the course and the majority of the present development are condos, Cypress Bay Estates are the heart of the community, with large manicured lots and beautiful single-family homes on the greens. There are around 25 homes here now with no homeowner association, and even some lots for sale to build on, from 1/8 to an acre in size. This peaceful and safe community looks like something out of a storybook, with mature trees, live oaks draped in moss, and blooming plants and bushes everywhere. Homes come in every size and range of price, from $200 to $300,000. Homesites run around $55,000. There are only a few for sale, so that tells you the residents love living there. To see the available homes (if any) use this LINK.
The standard condominium complex for Cypress Bay offers some of the best deals of condos in the Grand Strand. Amenities include an extra large pool and tennis courts. Views are of the new Cypress Village homes, along with several ponds and ample landscaped greenery.
Units come in one or two bedrooms, and range in price from just over $50,000 to just under $100,000. HOA fees are low, just under or over $200, depending on the size of the condo. You won't find a better deal in a condo with excellent amenities.
The condos in the Gardens are on the south end of the community, and are so called because of the abundant blooming foliage and lush greenery surrounding them. Palm and palmetto trees, pampas grass, azaleas, and flowers create an atmosphere and perfumed air all summer long. See our separate page for more information on The Gardens at Cypress Bay condos, as well.
The Gardens are very popular with retirees, and range from around $75,000 for a one bedroom up to around $100,000 for the nicest of the 2 bedroom units. The condos overlook several lakes and ponds, and the new homes that are being built in Cypress Village.
One good point from the golf course closing is that many owners are now very motivated to sell, and getting a fabulous deal on a beautiful condo is very possible. Call us to see the Cypress Bay community, homes, and condos. You might just find the deal of a lifetime.
