Colonial Charters Golf Course Homes and Condos
Colonial Charters is an 18 hole, 6400-yard course located off Hwy 9, just past Hwy 57 where Bell and Bell and the Dept of Motor Vehicles sits on the right. Under new management in 2013, the club has a renovated clubhouse with a pro shop and grill for members.
The many homes meandering through the greens include four subdivisions; Colonial Lakes, Colonial Place, Golf Forest, Colonial Club Estates, and Palmetto Greens. All the homes are a great buy, with Hardi-Plank or brick exteriors, nice lots that are maintained by the HOA, and beautiful views. Most are under $400,000, and with the low property taxes in Little River, offer a luxury lifestyle at a budget price.
Homes range from 3-5 bedrooms, and most are ranch style with a 2-car garage. Many have expansive window features to enjoy the fairway views. The community pool is large and welcoming, and HOA fees are low. Each subdivision offers its own private pool as well.
Many small ponds and lakes are situated on the golf course, offering the occasional water view. Palmetto Greens at Colonial Charters is perhaps the most popular, with most offering views of two of the largest lakes. Colonial Lakes offers brick homes on a lake with all the newest upgrades and such as granite counter-tops and trey ceilings.
Condos and Townhomes in Colonial Charters
Two large condo complexes are also located in Colonial Charters; Colonial Greens, and Colonial Villas. Colonial Trace is a townhome neighborhood that must be seen to be believed. All the complexes have a private pool, and these two and three bedroom maintenance free homes offer some of the best bargains to be had in the Grand Strand.
