My name is Jay Springs and I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker in South Carolina. I specialize in representing clients interested in the purchase of single-family homes and condominiums throughout the Grand Strand. I am dedicated to helping my clients’ further their real estate goals within this market, as I have done for the past 15 years.
Along with my business partners, I own Barefoot Realty, located in Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We started our company in 1999 to showcase the beautiful waterway and golf course views found in the Barefoot Development. My partners and I have been involved with Barefoot from its inception. Not only do I have extensive knowledge along the Grand Strand as a Realtor but also as a native of the coast. I have grown up along the Grand Strand, living in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach for over 45 years. With nearly a half a century of experience in the area, I have seen the growth and development along our coastline.
I grew up in North Myrtle Beach and attended Coastal Academy for high school. I then attended the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree. I met my wife, Elizabeth, at USC and married her shortly after college. We recently celebrated our 27th year of marriage. We are blessed with two beautiful children, Caroline and Jack. I am a current member of both the South Carolina Association of Realtors and the Coastal Carolina Board of Realtors.
I sit on the Coastal Carolina University Student Housing Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of South Atlantic Bank. I am an active member in the First Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach. I spend my free time with my family and volunteering with various organizations. I enjoy traveling, however, the Grand Strand is where my heart resides.
