Having lived in southeastern North Carolina the majority of my life, I spent many days in the North Myrtle Beach area. My favorite place to be has always been at or on a beach. I graduated college from North Carolina State University. I entered the law enforcement field and recently retired after 30 years of service. At my retirement, I had the honor of receiving the “Order of The Longleaf Pine” award from the Governor of North Carolina. 

In 2003 I obtained my North Carolina real estate license. I continued my real estate education and earned my GRI designation (Graduate of REALTOR Institute) in 2008. I formerly held the position of BIC (Broker in Charge) for a North Carolina Century 21 firm. 

I moved to North Myrtle Beach in 2020. Living at the beach was a lifelong goal. Living in North Myrtle Beach gave me the opportunity to continue my real estate career and obtain my South Carolina real estate license. 

My hobbies include spending time on the beach, boating, traveling, and playing golf. North Myrtle Beach is a vacation destination for many. For me, North Myrtle Beach is home. I am thankful I can assist others with their search to also make North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas home as well.

Getting to Know Me

1. Why are you a good fit for Real Estate? 

 - Because I understand that real estate is where dreams come true. Where we live makes us happy and complete. When we are happy at home, we are happy. Helping people find their dream home is fulfilling. As our lives change, our dreams change. Therefore, our real estate needs and desires also change.  

2. Where are you originally from? 

 - I am from Whiteville, NC. It is a short distance from Myrtle Beach, SC. 

3. What brought you to the area? 

 - I have been coming here since 1980 and knew that one day, I would live in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. 

4. What are your favorite local restaurants? 

 - I have so many. My favorites are Bar 1912, Clark’s, Blue Drum, BIN 2004, and several others. 

5. What are your favorite activities in your downtime? 

 - I am an avid fisherman and love spending time on the beach or ocean. I love golfing. My favorite place to be is with my wife and/or my grandchildren. 

6. What are your favorite Sports Teams? 

 - I enjoy sports, but it is only entertainment. I love college football, specifically the SEC. 

7. Do you play any sports? If so, what sport(s) do you play? 

 - I play golf as often as I can. Golf is my passion, and just another reason I love Myrtle Beach, SC. 

8. Do you have any pets?

 - No, I do not have any pets. 

9. What are you passionate about? 

 - I am passionate about my wife and family/kids/grandkids. I love the beach, ocean, fishing and golfing. 

10. How important is Customer Service to you? 

 - Customer Service is major to me for the simple reason. Customer Service represents me and the service I provide to a customer, buyer, or seller. I take pride in the service and professionalism I provide.
