A favorite of vacationers, Verandas by the Sea is one of the most popular of the older condominium complexes because it is only 5 short blocks to Main Street in Ocean Drive and the shag clubs. Typically all the resorts near the shag clubs are at a premium and don't stay on the market long. It is an ideal location for a vacation home or a rental investment.
Each 2 bedroom 2 bath condo has a balcony off the master bedroom where you can sip your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the ocean. Many have been renovated or updated as they are under a rental program. Some units face down the beach (ocean view) instead of direct oceanfront, but that doesn't always seem to determine the price. Square footage, end units, and upgrades to the condos are the keys to pricing. Amenities include a HEATED outdoor pool, lazy river, and hot tub. Parking is under the building and has elevators to access the garage.
From its location at 5th Ave South and Ocean Blvd, It's just 3 blocks to the new amusement park and arcade, and 4 blocks to the Spanish Galleon, Fat Harold's and the other clubs that bring so many back to Ocean Drive year after year. During the SOS functions, they also have a shuttle service to and from the clubs.
