Coquina Harbour & Harbour Front Villas
Just over the main bridge into North Myrtle Beach and only 4 miles from the ocean you'll find one of the best marinas and yacht clubs in the Grand Strand. The Coquina Harbour Marina offers a connection to the Atlantic through the Little River Inlet, and accesses the Intracoastal Waterway leading to Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach as well as north to Calabash, NC.
This U-shaped marina is bordered on both sides by luxury condominiums - Lightkeepers Village to the south, and a group of individual condo complexes collectively known as the Coquina Harbour condos to the north.
The Coquina condos are made up of four communities - Harbour Front Villas, Naussau Court, Bimini Court, and the recently gated Harbour Ridge condos at the end of the road and overlooking the marsh grassed inlet. The marina is ringed with a one and a half mile boardwalk, most of which presents a boat slip every few feet.
Harbour Front Villas
Closest to the entrance of Coquina Rd you find the Harbour Front condominiums. This community only around 10 years old and has the best location. The units are large 2 and 3 bedrooms, and most are sitting right on the boardwalk. They are inexpensive, being under $200k, with elevators and upgrades such as vaulted ceilings and split-level floorplans. Harbour Front has a lavish pool, spa, and deck area that overlooks the yacht basin. Some units are also across the street offering peaceful views of an adjacent golf course. Absolutely fabulous!
Nassau Court & Bimini Court Condos
Next on the line are two sets of sister complexes, Naussau Court and Bimini Court. These condos sometimes INCLUDE a boat slip with the purchase, and are directly on the marina's boardwalk. HOA fees include insurance and boat slip fees. They also have a clubhouse and beautiful pool across the private street. Listing for sale around $300k, these may be the finest of all the condos bordering Coquina Harbour.
Harbour Ridge Condos
Last is the smaller gated complex of Harbour Ridge. At the end of the street, this set of medium-rise condos are freshly painted "lavendar" and quite unique...with beautiful views of the marsh and the Little River Inlet in the distance. These private condos are landscaped, well kept, and present a beautiful pool and jacuzzi overlooking the marsh. Amazingly, these great units can be purchased below a hundred thousand dollars!
The Coquina Harbour Waterway condos come in every price range and all are some of the most recommended anywhere, especially for a permanent resident. In fact, some of the complexes do not allow short term rentals.
